This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share personal data when you use our website and services. If you are a seller using our platform, you are responsible for customer data and payment instructions you manage for your buyers. Catalo.id acts as a software platform provider and does not process buyer payments for seller products. Merchant subscription billing to Catalo.id is handled separately.

1) Data we collect

  • Account data: name, email, authentication/session data, and basic profile details.
  • Business verification data (if applicable): information used for KYC/KYB or compliance checks.
  • Usage & device data: logs, IP address, browser/device identifiers, pages/actions, and security events.
  • Content you submit: product/catalog content, images, and support messages.
  • Platform subscription billing data: we may store subscription identifiers, invoice references, and billing transaction references related to the merchant’s Catalo.id subscription. Buyer payments to sellers are not processed by Catalo.id.

2) How we use data

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the service (including authentication and core features).
  • To secure the platform, prevent fraud/abuse, and enforce policies.
  • To support customers and respond to requests.

Depending on your jurisdiction, we process data based on one or more of: contract necessity (service delivery), legitimate interests (security and improvement), legal obligations (compliance), and consent (certain cookies/marketing where applicable).

We may also disclose data to comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, or protect users and the public. Catalo.id does not process buyer payments for seller products.

  • Communications: email/SMS/notification providers.
  • Analytics: usage analytics for performance and product improvement (per configuration).
  • Subscription billing: subscription billing providers for Catalo.id merchant billing and fraud prevention (if applicable).

Our service providers may process data in other countries. Where required, we apply appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
