Refunds & Cancellations

This document explains how cancellations and refunds work for subscriptions. It helps reduce disputes and sets clear expectations.

1) Subscription cancellation

  • You can cancel a paid plan anytime from your account settings or by contacting support.
  • Cancellation stops the next renewal. Access remains active until the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated at checkout.
  • We do not provide prorated refunds for unused time in the current billing period unless required by applicable law.

2) Refund eligibility

Refunds may be granted under the following conditions. If not met, requests may be declined.

  • Billing error: duplicate charge, incorrect amount, or an erroneous charge.
  • Unauthorized transaction: If you suspect your account was compromised, contact us immediately so we can investigate.
  • Service not delivered as described: where applicable and verifiable.

Time limit: Submit a refund request within 14 days from the charge date, unless a longer period is required by law.

3) Non-refundable items

  • Fees for a billing period that has been substantially used, except for verified billing errors.
  • Requests submitted after the refund request window.
  • Third-party fees (bank/payment provider) where applicable.
  • Abuse of trials/promotions or fraudulent activity.

4) Trials and first charges

  • If you start a free trial, cancel before it ends to avoid being charged.
  • If a charge occurs after a trial due to late cancellation, refunds are generally not provided unless a billing error is verified or required by law.

5) How to request a refund

Email support with the following information to speed up verification:

  • Your account email
  • Invoice / transaction reference (if any)
  • Charge date and amount
  • Statement descriptor: CATALOID
  • A short description of the issue and your requested outcome

Review time: We typically respond within 3 business days. Refund processing: After approval, the refund typically appears within 5–10 business days (varies by bank/payment method).

6) Chargebacks & disputes

Please contact support before initiating a bank chargeback. Many billing issues can be resolved faster via support. Chargebacks may slow resolution and can trigger account restrictions for fraud prevention.
